You know how some runs tend to be on the longer side? That’s really not ideal if you are just starting to run. One of the best things about this run is the fact that it’s only a mile long. Therefore, whether you decide to run it or walk it, you won’t have to worry about pushing yourself too far. Sound like something you might be able to do? Mark your calendar for Friday, Sept. 20. The race activities will begin at 6 p.m. and end at 8 p.m., and it’s all going down at the Fort Myers Regional Library.
Ready to register? You’ll want to do so before the day of the run, or you’ll end up spending more than you need to. If you register now, it’ll cost you $20; however, if you want until the day of the race, you’ll pay $22.
Run or Walk
People of all fitness levels are encouraged to come out and be a part of this walk/run. That means you don’t have to be in amazing shape to participate. Whether you run every day or are just getting started, you can feel welcome to come out and do your best. That means you can walk or run – whatever you prefer!

Support Local Health Initiatives
Keeping the community as healthy as possible can be a daunting task, but the Lee County Bar Foundation works hard every day to make sure that everyone in the area has the health support that they need. And when you participate in this event, you’ll love the fact that the proceeds go toward this amazing organization.
Make health a priority in your life and in your community when you come out to the Downtown Dash Run/Walk.
